Rain at many places

RAINFALL: Rain/snow has occurred at many places over Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places over Himachal Pradesh. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places over Punjab. Weather was mainly dry over the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cm are: JAMMU AND KASHMIR: Kupwara 1.

MINIMUM TEMPERATURE: The minimum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and Uttarakhand and changed little elsewhere. They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 06.6ºC recorded at Narnaul (Haryana).

FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 22nd FEBRUARY: Rain/snow would occur at many places over Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places over Uttarakhand. After 24 hours rain/thundershowers would occur at one or two places over Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry over the rest of the region.

HAVY RAIN/SNOWFALL WARNING: Heavy rain/snow would occur at one or two places over Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir during the next 48 hours.
