Dry weather

RAINFALL: Rain/snow has occurred at many places over Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry over rest of the region.

MINIMUM TEMPERATURE: The minimum temperatures fell appreciable in Punjab, fell in Himachal Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. They were normal over the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 02.6ºC recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 28th JANUARY 2012: Rain/snow may occur at a few places over Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places over east Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry over rest of the region.
