Even as the Army claimed on Monday that it had captured two Pakistani militants during the night between October 12 and 13 in Tangdhar sector of Kupwara district, Pakistani Rangers left an Indian soldier injured on the International Border in Samba. “Based on specific intelligence inputs, the Army established cordon and surveillance points near Line of Control. The terrorists were challenged and overpowered by the brave troops,” a Defence spokesman here said. The two militants had been handed over to police. — Special Correspondent
