CHENNAI: Governor S.S. Barnala will be the chief guest at an Indo-United Kingdom workshop on Next Generation Communication Networks (NGN) in Chennai. The workshop, hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from January 31 to February 2, will evolve a joint research programme.

The workshop aims to establish a Technical Advisory Group, which will in turn identify, prioritise and develop collaboration opportunities, according to a news release from the British Deputy High Commission, Chennai.
