CHENNAI: A petty clash over filling water from a tap ended in the murder of a 52-year-old woman in Ayanavaram on Saturday night.

According to Secretariat Colony police, Chironmani of B block, S.S. Puram in Ayanarvaram, had an argument with her relative Neela (58) over filling drinking water from a pipe. Later in the evening, Neela’s son Jagan (20) along with a few others went to Chironmani’s house and confronted her.
