Interview tomorrow at THADCO office in the city

Beneficiaries must be in the age group of 17 to 35

Trainees eligible for a monthly stipend of Rs.1000

TIRUCHI: District administration has invited applications from sanitary workers and their wards for undergoing vocational training programme organised through the Tamil Nadu Adi Dravida Housing and Development Corporation (THADCO).

The beneficiaries, in the age group of 17 to 35, would undergo three to five months training in various trades including plumbing, household wiring, fitting, carpentry, automobile repairing, electronic consumer goods maintenance, air-conditioning/refrigeration, tailoring and computer hardware repairing and maintenance.

Sanitary workers who have already registered with the THADCO and their wards are eligible. Trainees would be eligible to get a monthly stipend of Rs.1000.

For computer programme, the minimum educational qualification would be a pass or fail in SSLC and for all other programmes the minimum it would be standard V. Applicants can appear for the interviews to be held at THADCO office on the Collector’s Office Road in the city at 10.30 a.m. on July 5. They must produce their educational certificates and identity cards, Collector T. Soundiah said.
