The Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary School Vocational Teachers Kazhagam has welcomed the Chief Minister’s order for creating new posts of post-graduate teachers, laboratory attenders and junior assistants, and for allocating funds for providing basic infrastructure facilities for schools.

In a press release issued here, the association welcomed the government’s order to create 1,591 posts of post-graduate teachers proportionate to the strength of students, 4,393 lab attenders and 1,764 junior assistants for the development of school education especially to enable students from poor families to continue their studies without dropping out of schools. It also requested the CM to take steps to fill the vacant posts of vocational teachers.
