CUDDALORE: Annamalai University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Raja Yoga Education and Research Foundation (Brahmakumaris) to offer postgraduate diploma in values and spirituality.
Vice-Chancellor M. Ramanathan said that the people, particularly youth, were living under constant pressure and therefore feeling a sense void or emptiness.
He attributed this to irregular food habits, inadequate physical work and irreligious attitude. Moreover, the lifestyle they adopted exhausted them mentally, physically and spiritually.
Mr. Ramanathan said that the yoga programme was designed jointly by the university and the Brahmakumaris to remove imbalance, restore equanimity and initiate the youth into spiritual path.
