The Department of Life-Long Learning, Bharathidasan University, has announced launch of a two-year M.A. programme in Human Resource Management during 2010-11.

The M.A. (HRM) course has been designed to generate workforce for government, private institutions and non-government organisations as managers, researchers, policy makers and evaluators. A one-month in-plant training at reputed national level government and private organisations would be an integral part of the programme. At the end of every year, industrial visits would be arranged , K. Parthasarathy, Department Head, said .The eligibility is a pass in undergraduation. The course, according to Dr. Parthasarathy was devised in keeping with India's abundant human resource potential and resources. The programme takes into account the importance of leadership, personality development, training, motivation, conflict management and evaluation with thorough knowledge along with field exposure required for a manager, the release said.

Application and prospectus can be obtained by producing demand draft for Rs. 300/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ST candidates) from any nationalised bank in favour of Bharathidasan University, Tiruchi – 24.
