MADURAI: The Rajapalayam Round Table - 158 celebrated Children's Day in a more meaningful way.

Its members revisited Narayankulam Othapatti panchayat union and went around the villages to inspect the growth of saplings, which they had distributed last year to 200 students of the panchayat union school there.

The members had promised to reward the students if they took due care in nurturing the neem saplings.

As promised, they inspected the plants grown in Narayankulam, Othapatti and Gandhi Nagar and gave certificates and prizes to 36 children.
