The Tamil Nadu Public Services Commission will conduct examinations for Group-I services in Villupuram on February 16, according to Collector V. Sampath.

After reviewing the arrangements for the conduct of the examinations here on Tuesday, he told reporters that uninterrupted power supply would be ensured at all the examination centres. Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation has been asked to post adequate number of staff for the entire duration of the examination to immediately attend to any faults that might arise in the power circuit.

Mr. Sampath also said that the examination centres would be monitored by flying squads and videographers. Adequate security would be provided to vehicles carrying question papers from the sub-treasury to the examination centres and bringing the answer scripts on the return direction.

The State Transport Corporation would run special bus services to help candidates reach the centres on time, the Collector added.

District Revenue Officer R. Brindadevi was present.
