Forest Department personnel rescued two pythons from agriculture land close to forest areas, near Karavalli, at the foothills of Kolli Hills, on Saturday. One of them was about 12-feet-long and was spotted on the land owned by Selvam of Nadukombai village.

Labourers who were harvesting sugarcane saw the python.

The other python measuring close to eight feet in length was found on the sugarcane field owned by Kali Gounder. Both the reptiles were released into the Karavalli Reserve Forest in Kolli Hills.
