Two killed

Two youth were killed on the spot when the two-wheeler they were riding hit against a deluxe bus at Peraiyur village near here on Wednesday.

Police identified the dead as P. Bharathiraja (20) and P. Arjunan (20). The youth were proceeding towards Pudukottai while the bus was coming from Chennai to Karaikudi when the incident happened, police said.

The Tirugokarnam police have registered a case and are investigating.
