A trekking expedition to Kurudimalai top (Sanjeevini hills) by the Central Training College – II (CTC II) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), one of the highest peaks at a height of 4,752 feet overlooking the city, will be inaugurated by C. Swaminathan, Vice-Chancellor of Bharathiar University on the CTC II premises at Kurudampalayam on August 19 at 7 a.m. According to T. Sekar, DIG and Principal of CTC II of CRPF, interested participants in the age group of 12 to 50 can take part in the event. Use of plastics and bottles by participants are strictly prohibited.
