A two-day life-skill training for neo-literate visually challenged women began here on Saturday. The camp is organised by the Association for Rights of Visually Challenged, Indian Medical Association’s Tirunelveli Chapter and You and the Disabled.

The camp focuses on sensitising the women on a range of issues pertaining to personal hygiene and health. Dr. Sumathi Babu spoke on tuberculosis, diabetes and nutrition for women. Dr. Pushpa Raju delivered a lecture on common gynecological problems and the remedial measures.

The participants interacted with the experts to clarify their doubts after the end of every session.
