The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises – Development Institute (MSME – DI) is conducting a paper and allied products programme here between February 13 and 17

Use of plastic and polythene bags have been banned in 10 districts and could soon be extended across the State. Hence, there is going to be a huge demand for cups, plates and carry bags made from paper. To cater to this demand, the MSME-DI is conducting this programme.

Those above 18 years of age could apply. There is no minimum educational qualification.

A fee concession of 50 per cent would be provided to those belonging to Scheduled Castes/Schedules Tribes category.

The programme venue was MSME Skill Training Centre, Melur Main Road, Industrial Estate (near SETC depot), Opposite to the Amway Office, Madurai 625 007. More information could be obtained from N. Sivalingam, Assistant Director, mobile no: 94429 38443.
