KANCHEEPURAM: Thirty members from 20 women self-help groups underwent a 21-day training camp on book binding process, sponsored by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, held here recently.

The Project Officer, District Rural Development Authority, Archana Patnaik, distributed certificates to the participants of the training programme, who were attached to women self-help groups, promoted by Star Welfare Organisation of the Rural Development Trust, Kancheepuram.

The Assistant General Manager, NABARD, B. Swaminathan, and Lead District Manager, Indian Bank, P. Swaminathan, presented tools and stipend amounts to the participants at the valedictory function which was conducted on February 19.
