CHENNAI: Southern Railway on Wednesday announced that some EMU and mainline services would be partially and fully cancelled due to non-interlocked working at Arakkonam from March 28 to 31 in connection with replacement of signalling gears.

The services to be fully cancelled are: Train No MA 33 Moore Market Complex (MMC) – Arakkonam local leaving MMC at 10.10 p.m. on March 28, 29, and 30; AM 4 Arakkonam – MMC local leaving Arakkonam at 4.30 a.m. on March 29, 30 and 31; ATR 1 and ATR 3 Arakkonam – Tiruttani local leaving Arakkonam at 4.20 a.m. and 5.10 a.m. respectively on March 29, 30, and 31; TRA 6 Tiruttani – Arakkonam local leaving Tiruttani at 11 p.m. on March 28, 29 and 30;

Train No. 199 Arakkonam – Katpadi Passenger leaving Arakkonam at 12.30 p.m. on March 29 and 30; T. No. 200 Katpadi – Arakkonam Passenger leaving Katpadi at 10 a.m. on March 29 and 30; T. No 111 MMC – Arakkonam Passenger leaving MMC at 2.50 p.m. on March 29 and 30; T. No. 112 Arakkonam – MMC Passenger leaving Arakkonam at 9 p.m. on March 29 and 30.

The trains to be partially cancelled are: T. No. 101 Arakkonam – Bangalore Passenger leaving Arakkonam at 8 a.m. on March 29, 30 and 31 will be operated from Katpadi;

T. No. 102 Bangalore – Arakkonam Passenger leaving Bangalore at 9.20 a.m. on March 28, 29 and 30 will be only run up to Katpadi;

T. No. 187 Arakkonam – Katpadi Passenger leaving Arakkonam at 10.40 p.m. on March 29, and 30 will leave from Melpakkam;

T. No. 188 Katpadi – Arakkonam Passenger leaving Katpadi at 4.30 a.m. on March 29 and 30 will terminate at Melpakkam;

T. No. 193 Arakkonam – Renigunta Passenger leaving Arakkonam at 7.05 a.m. on March 29 and 30 will leave from Tiruttani and T. No. 194 Renigunta – Arakkonam Passenger leaving Renigunta at 6 p.m. on March 29 and 30 will terminate up to Tiruttani, according to press release.
