TNPSC Secretary inspects exam centres

The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Ramesh Chand Meena and its Member S. Xavier Jesu Raja accompanied by the District Revenue Officer C.A. Raman inspected the exam centres in the city where Combined Engineering Service Examination conducted by the TNPSC was held.

A total number of 1,920 candidates took the written examination at four centres – Seva Sangam Girls Higher Secondary School, S.M.S. Higher Secondary School, Woraiyur, Bishop Heber Higher Secondary School, Puthur and Khajamian Higher Secondary School, Mannarpuram.

Two flying squads comprising officials in the rank of Deputy Collector were constituted to check any malpractices in the examination centres. The examination was conducted in 15 centres across the State for direct recruitment to the posts of Assistant Engineer, Assistant Inspector of Factories and Junior Electrical Inspector, an official press release here said.

Pudukottai

A total number of 309 candidates appeared for the examination that was held at the Government Ranees Girls Higher Secondary School in Pudukottai. The TNPSC Member K.Lakshmanan inspected the examination centre accompanied by the District Revenue Officer G.S.Ramadasu and other officials, another release said.
