The Tiruchi Airport has been ranked second in customer satisfaction index among 52 airports handling less than 1.5 million passengers a year in the country during 2012.
Disclosing this here, G.K.Chaukiyal, Member (operations), Airports Authority of India, said the airport had scored 4.34 points on a scale of five in the customer satisfaction index arrived through a survey conducted between January and June 2012. It had scored 4.55 points between July and December 2012. Jodhpur stood first.
The scores are arrived at based on 32 parameters such as cleanliness, infrastructure and service through surveys conducted among passengers through a private agency.
