A wide range of products and services are on display at TechEx 2011, a technology and engineering exhibition, at CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex here.

What makes the fair special is that all the products and technologies on display are by the alumni of PSG College of Technology.

The three-day event that began on Friday has been organised by PSG Tech Alumni Association and the college.

Some of the exhibits are smart censors, video conference cameras, pumpsets, gear boxes, textile products, IT-related services, home décor, automobile components, building materials, and consultancy services.

Industries

All the 75 varieties of exhibits have been manufactured/offered by the industries owned by the alumni of PSG College of Technology, PSG Polytechnic College and PSG Institute of Management.

Nearly 300 stalls spread over 75,000 sq.ft. showcase the achievements of the alumni of these institutes in different areas.

Segments

The products are in various engineering segments such as electrical, mechanical, textile, electronic or computer engineering.

The “Products of PSG Products” are from different parts of India and foreign countries too.

The alumni are from 55 of the 57 batches that have passed out of the institute so far.

The exhibition, inaugurated by L. Ganesh, Chairman of Rane Group, on Friday, is organised as a concurrent event of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of PSG College of Technology this year.

It will be open from 9.30 a.m. to 12 noon for business visitors and to the public from 12.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
