Online applications are invited for various economic development schemes being implemented through Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation (TAHDCO) office in Ariyalur district. According to a release from M. Ravikumar, Collector, these schemes include purchase\ development of land, entrepreneur development, self-employment, setting up hospitals, petrol \diesel bunks, revolving fund and assistance for women self-help groups, urgent energisation, and assistance for those appearing for the Civil Services examinations.

In order to get loan with subsidy, the applicants should be Hindu Adi Dravidars and should have completed 18 years of age. For other schemes, the age limit is 55. The annual family income should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh. For special schemes like setting up retail petrol\diesel\gas outlets, the annual family income could be Rs. 3 lakh.

Those interested could visit and register. They should mention the number of the ration card or residence proof, community certificate and income certificate. The photograph should be scanned and uploaded, and the date on which project report was obtained should be mentioned.
