Sugarcane Breeding Institute will organise an International Symposium on ‘New Paradigms in Sugarcane Research’ here from October 15 to 18.

According to a release, the symposium is being held as part of its centenary celebrations. Experts and scientists in the field of sugarcane from organisations in India and abroad are taking part in the four-day symposium that will be held at Hotel Le Meridien .

The symposium will be inaugurated by Swapan Kumar Dutta, Deputy Director General (Crop Science), Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. The keynote address will be by K. Ramasamy, Vice-Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. For details,
