The festival will be organised at 100 select schools in 14 panchayat unions besides urban centres in the district. Basic principles of science and their applications would be explained to the students. Encouraging sports activities was another objective of the festival.

Fun through magic

Magical activities would be an important component of the programme. He even demonstrated a few magic events, but explained the scientific principle involved in each and every activity.

Encouraged by his lecture-cum-demonstration, a large number of children volunteered to participate in the activity and raised several queries about the secrets of the movement.
