Coimbatore: Institute for Human Rights Education (IHRE) conducted a five-day summer camp on Human Rights for students at Kamadenu College of Arts and Science in Sathyamangalam from May 11.

A total of 25 teachers and 57 students from Erode, Tirupur, the Nilgiis, Karur and Namakkal districts attended the camp. The objective of the camp was to make the future generation understand and appreciate human rights. E. Devasahayam, Director of IHE presided over the inauguration. Erode Jeevanandham of Pasumai Movement, Human Rights Activist and lawyer Bhavani B Mohan, Founder and Chairman of Kamadhenu College, Perumalsamy and Secretary Arunandhi took part.
