V.N. Sudhakaran, accused number three in the disproportionate assets case involving Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, on Wednesday stated before the Special Court here that she did not contribute any money for any of the properties purchased by him.

Replying to the court’s questions under Section 313 of the Indian Penal Code, Mr. Sudhakaran said he had purchased the properties from his earnings. Like another accused, Ms. Sasikala, he also claimed that the disproportionate assets case was “politically motivated”.

Meanwhile, Mr. Sudhakaran on Wednesday completed the process of answering the court’s questions.

He has replied to 914 questions. The Special Court has issued direction to accused number four, J. Ilavarasi, to personally appear before the court on January 4 for recording her statements.
