Students of various nursing colleges took out an awareness rally organised by the Lions Club of Pudukottai Victory here on Wednesday to sensitise the masses to various issues.
Carrying placards and raising slogans they marched through the thoroughfares, appealing to the people to save the earth from global warming. They also explained the importance of eye donation and preventive measures against incidence of dengue.
Earlier, Collector C. Manoharan flagged off the rally. R. Narendran, president of the club, J. Madhivanan, secretary and P. Jawahar, coordinator, were present.
