Scores of students from colleges in Tuticorin and its neighbouring district Tirunelveli displayed their talent at an inter-collegiate cultural festival — Steco Fest-2013 — organised by Sterlite Copper here on Sunday.

The festival held at V.O.Chidambaram College in Tuticorin was inaugurated by D. Dhanavel, Head, Projects, Sterlite, in the presence of C. Veerabahu, Principal.

A total of 675 students from 34 colleges in the districts, participated in a variety of events that included ad-zap, rangoli, skit and also competed in elocution (Tamil and English). Besides, the festival enthralled the audience through stage performances such as fashion show, group and solo dance. At the valedictory function, Superintendent of Police M. Durai gave away prizes to the winners.
