CHENNAI: Students who passed 10th standard public examination in the current year can register their names for employment in their schools.

According to an official press release, the Labour and Employment Exchange Department, in coordination with the School Education Department, has directed headmasters to fill the applications forms received from students and send them along with certified copies of mark sheet, community and transfer certificates to the nearest employment exchange.

Arrangements have been made to distribute the registration cards at the schools within a week.

The Department also opened 100 centres throughout the State for the convenience of students who had passed Plus- Two examinations in the current year to register their names for employment, the release added.
