The city police on Wednesday removed 154 postgraduate students of Government Arts College, including 43 women, who were demanding that the Government provide free laptops to them. At present, the Government is providing free laptop to high school and undergraduate course students.

The students boycotted their classes for the second consecutive day in protest against this. They raised slogans and carried placards. Revenue District Officer S.
