Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology is organising a State-level inter-school talent test.

A release said ‘Inspira-2010', to be held on November 13 and 14 with The Hindu as print media partner, was aimed at recognising the multifaceted talents of today's school students.

The objective of the event was to bring out innovative ideas in children at the formative stages of life, so that it became a part of their habit and style of functioning.

More than 600 schools in and around Tamil Nadu and Kerala would participate. And, more than 3,000 students would exhibit their scientific inventions and showcase their talents in a variety of challenging competitions.

‘Edison's Arena' was an event that would take viewers to 2050. ‘KQ-Champ' would test knowledge quotient through a general knowledge quiz. ‘Spell Champ' was all about spelling. ‘Cyber Champ' was for social networking fans. And, ‘Vision India Conclave' was a debating event.
