CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Government Temporary Junior Assistant Development Union urged the State government to regularise the services of all temporary junior assistants.

The union said there were 11,000 temporary junior assistants and the services of 5,610 persons were regularised in the first phase.

Orders verified

A total of 2,424 people were awaiting appointment orders and their certificates had already been verified. Besides issuing appointment orders, the government should also consider regularising the services of another 2,500 people, stated a resolution adopted at the executive committee meeting.
