My brother is my source of inspiration, says Pandian

Tuticorin: R. Pandian, a student of Sakthi Vinayakar Hindu Vidyalaya, CBSE Senior Secondary School, Tuticorin, the State-topper in the Plus Two public examinations with a total score of 1187, has scored full marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science. The boy scored 194 in Tamil and 193 in English. “I want to become an IAS officer and continuous efforts had to be put in for the Civil Services competitive examinations,” he said. In the immediate future, he wants to study BE Computer Science Engineering at Anna University-Chennai where his brother from the same school is studying.

“He is my source of inspiration.” The teachers of my school expected a lot rather than me due to their constant efforts in adopting systematic methods of teaching for productive results in the academic year. His mother Shanthi, a teacher at a government school near Eral, said that he never wasted time at home and read either textbooks or novels all the time. His father, Raju, a Junior Engineer, was also ecstatic. K. Palanisamy, secretary and correspondent of the school, attributed Pandian's success to efforts of his teachers and parents.
