Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam treasurer and M.L.A, M. K. Stalin visited the former DMK minister KKSSR Ramachandran, on Monday, who has been arrested and detained in Madurai Central prison in connection with a murder of a postmaster in 2007 in Virudhunagar. Talking to reporters after visiting him, Mr. Stalin said that the former minister is hale and healthy and is geared up to legally face the ‘false' charges foisted by the Jayalalithaa government.

When asked about the murder of former minister K. N. Nehru's brother K. N. Ramajayam, Mr. Stalin said, “we were planning to demand a CBI inquiry in the Assembly but we were never allowed to speak, so “yes we demand a CBI Inquiry.”

DMK is as organised as it was before and the cadres are in a rejuvenated mood and it is the cadres who are more important than the office bearers, he said.
