Built at a cost of Rs. 10.5 crore, the bus stand will have 53 bays
Deputy Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will inaugurate the modern bus stand built at a cost of Rs. 10.5 crore in Hosur on July 18.
In this connection a meeting of the district officials was convened by Collector V. Arun Roy here on Wednesday discussed arrangements to be made for Mr. Stalin's visit.
The meeting also discussed about the welfare assistance through various departments, inauguration of new buildings, laying of foundation stones for new buildings and other new schemes etc.
On Thursday, Mr. Roy inspected the preparations at the Hosur new bus stand. The bus stand will have 53 bus bays with all the modern facilities.
The consultative meeting was attended by P. Prabhakar, District Revenue Officer, G. Luxmi Priya, Additional Collector (Development) among others participated.
S.A. Satya, Chairman, Hosur Municipality, A.P. Panneer Selvam, Commissioner, Tahsildhar Manickam, Municipal Engineer J. Alphonse and others accompanied the Collector during the inspection, says a release.
