SALEM: A spotted deer, which strayed on the Nethimedu substation premises, was caught here on Thursday. The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board officials said that the deer was spotted on the 15 acre-premises about 10 days ago. The workers tried to catch it on several occasions. But it escaped from them and hid behind the bushes. When it entered into the office building on Thursday, the workers caught it and handed over to the forest officials. Officials said that the deer had few bruises and would be left into the forests after treatment.
