The special team of the Coimbatore City Police probing the siblings' murder case is planning to file a charge sheet before November 30.

Assistant Commissioner of Police K. Kumarasamy, officer on special duty, said the team was gathering witnesses and evidences. Already more than 40 people had come forward to give evidence in the case.

The special team is directed to file the charge sheet within 30 days of the occurrence of the crime.

With Mohanraj, one of the accused, having been killed in an encounter, the charges against Manoharan, the other accused were being pursued. The cases registered against Mohanraj in connection with the encounter would be taken up separately, officials said.

The three-day police custody of Manoharan had helped in identifying places of occurrence and gathering crucial evidences. The medical and forensic reports were ready, the officials said.
