The district administration has announced that the special assessment camps to provide assistive devices to the differently abled would be held in Musiri and Thuraiyur Assembly constituencies on April 21.

The camp in Musiri constituency would be held at Joseph Eye Hospital opposite to Musiri RDO office from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The camp in Thuraiyur constituency would be held at Thuraiyur panchayat union office from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

A medical team would screen the differently abled in both places and recommend suitable assistive devices based on the type of their disability.

The devices would be provided from the respective MLA Constituency Development Fund.

An official press release here said those attending the camps should bring a copy of the national identity card given to the differently abled and a copy of the ration card.

In the first phase, the camps were held at Srirangam, Manachanallur, Tiruchi East, and Tiruchi West Assembly constituencies on April 13 and 14.
