Singapore Consul General in Chennai calls on CM

Roy Khoi, Consul General of Singapore in Chennai, on Monday met Chief Minister N. Rangasamy at the Assembly building here.

Accompanied by a few officials of the Consulate General office, Khoi spent about 30 minutes with the Chief Minister. It was termed as a courtesy call. Cultural, social and economic cooperation between India and Singapore was among the things discussed at the meeting.

Mr. Khoi, who recently assumed office in Chennai, pointed out that a number of people belonging to Puducherry had been living in Singapore.
