The exhibition will go on till March 9 in Pudukottai

PUDUKOTTAI: A special exhibition organised by the District Supply and Marketing Society has come in handy for marketing the products made by the women members of self-help groups in the district.

Timed with the week-long function at Tiruvappur Mariamman Temple, the exhibition has been organised at close quarters to the temple, to attract the visitors.

The exhibits, among other things, include bangles made by the women members at Vaithur village; nurseries of various eye-catching plants raised by the women members.

J. Raghavan, District Revenue Officer, declared open the exhibition which will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. till March 9.

Adequate marketing opportunitines

“As the annual festival attracts a large number of devotees, the exhibition will provide adequate marketing opportunities to the women members of the SHGs,” says S. Sathyaseelan, Secretary of the Society.
