As many as 11 two-wheelers seized by the Prohibition and Enforcement Wing (PEW) of the Dharmapuri police will be sold through auction on June 13 at the campus of the District Police Office at 9 a.m.

Certificates will be issued for name transfer only for vehicles in which the engine and chassis number are not tampered with and for the rest of the vehicles only receipt will be issued, a release says.

Vehicles can be inspected on the DPO premises from 7 a.m. on that day. Those who buy vehicles in auction should pay the full amount, a release said.

Twelve per cent sales tax and 5 per cent service tax on sales tax will be collected from the buyers.
