Candidates are required to bring demand draft with them

PONDICHERRY: The second round of counselling for students opting for biology-based courses under the government quota will be held here on August 9 and 10.
The counselling is for courses such as M.B.B.S, B.D.S, B.V.Sc and AH, B.Sc nursing, B.P.T and B.Sc (MLT), a release from the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) said.
On the first day, counselling will be held for students of all categories with scores between 178.208 and 123.833 marks in the entrance exam.
On the second day, counselling will be held for students of all categories (scores between 123.792 and 112), defence personnel (111.958 and 101.417), Scheduled Castes (111.958 and 084.917), physically handicapped (111.958-064.292) and sports category (from 1 to 30th rank).
Candidates from Mahe (scores between 111.958 and 098.125) and Yanam (111.958 and 091.569) have been called for counselling on the same day.
CENTAC has requested eligible candidates who have the stipulated marks but did not receive the call letter to attend the counselling on scheduled days with their original certificates.
Candidates appearing for the first time are requested to bring a demand draft of Rs.1000; those who have already secured a seat in either engineering or biology-based courses Rs.500.
SC and ST candidates should get a demand draft of Rs. 250 if they are appearing for the first time and Rs.125 if it is the second time.
The demand drafts should be drawn in favour of the Convenor, CENTAC, payable at Pondicherry.
