PONDICHERRY: This hotel is making great efforts to get fresh fish for its ongoing seafood festival. Anjappar Restaurant, located at 5, Vallalar Salai (45 Feet Road) in Pondicherry, is holding a month-long fish festival.

They have a large variety of dishes made of fish such as `iyrai', `nethli'`kanava' (squid), `sora'`kezhanga'and prawn and crab dishes made in authentic Chettinadu style.

During the festival, which is on till April 30, Anjappar has `viral meen' fry and curry`vanjrameen'fry and kuzhambu, `eral' fry, `eral 65', pomphret fry and tawa fry.

"We don't grind the spices used in a mixie or grinder. To get the authentic taste, the spices are ground using the `ammi kozhavi'," said proprietor K.R. Rajagopalan.

As part of the food festival, the restaurant is offering 250 ml of icecream free for every meal for which bill value of Rs.250 and above.

The hotel also offers Chinese and Tandoori dishes.
