The Sainik School, Amaravathinagar, conducted a science exhibition on its premises to ignite the talents among the students studying at Amar Sainik School, the primary school division of the main Sainik School.

A total of around 200 miniature models developed by the young ‘scientists’ were displayed. The children demonstrated innovative models of wind power generation, hydraulic lifts, sophisticated motor fans and production of green energy, among others.

Captain Sandeep Chakravarthi, the principal of Sainik School, Amaravathinagar, said the event was organised to bring out the scientific aptitudes in children at the primary level itself so that they could naturally sustain their interest in science for longer period in their lives.
