Panorama Week

The Unique Academy celebrated the Panorama Week cultural fest on its premises recently. The objective of the programme was to provide an opportunity for the children to showcase their creative talents. A number of events, including dance, mono acting, debate, quiz, ad-shop, product marketing, drawing, cookery, floral arrangement, fruit and vegetable carving were held as a part of the programme. N.Kumaraguru of Grade I, K.C.Indhumalini and R.Shrinithi of Grade VII bagged the best overall performer awards.

Chidren's Day

The URC Palaniammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Erode, celebrated the Children's Day recently. Participating in the celebrations, Thamizhachi Thangapandian called upon the students to make best use of the resources available in the school to acquire new knowledge. She gave away prizes to the winners of various competitions held as a part of the celebrations. School President Thulasiammal, Secretaries Kanagasabapathy and C. Devarajan, correspondent K. Saraswathy and Principal R. Ganesh spoke. Plus I student Aarthy welcomed the gathering. Vilasini delivered the vote of thanks.

Consolation prize

M. Mehul Kumar Singhvi, a class VI student of Notre Dame of Holy Cross (CBSE) School, Salem, won the consolation prize in the junior category at the annual The Hindu Young World painting competition held in Tiruchi on Sunday. Brother Gilbert, principal of the school, Brother Santhosh, vice principal, and Arivalagum, drawing master, felicitated Mehul Kumar Singhvi on his achievement.
