A young reader engagement initiative by The Hindu and the first year students of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management program at the PSG Institute of Management took off on September 5, which happened to be Teacher's Day.

In an event to mark the launch of this initiative held at PSG High School, Vedapatti, Senior Regional manager P. Subramaniam of The Hindu , Coimbatore, highlighted the unique aspects of the school edition. N. C. Nandagopalan, the Secretary of PSG Schools and PSG College of Arts and Sciences noted that he was an avid reader of The Hindu for over 55 years and attributed his ability to speak good English to this.

Four schools in Coimbatore will benefit from a year’s supply of the school edition of The Hindu and the cost is borne by PSGIM students.
