The Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF) has donated Rs.5 lakh to the Institute of Road Transport for printing and distributing instruction books, on road safety and safe driving, to the general public.

The cheque was received by the Director, IRT, P. Rajan from the HMIF Trustee, R. Sethuraman at a function held at HMI's manufacturing plant at Irungattukottai on Wednesday.

H.W. Park, Managing Director, HMIL said various projects executed under the CSR programme of the company added value to the community at large.
