The Rotary Club of Tiruchi Sakthi has donated a RO (Reverse Osmosis) plant to the government-aided MBC Hostel managed by the Narikuravar Education and Welfare Society at Devarayaneri.

Support promised

At a brief function, club president Shieba Mathuram handed over the RO plant to the society on Thursday and promised continued support while advising the children to study well.

She exhorted the management to enrol more “out-of-school” children in the coming years.

The past president of Rotary Club of BHEL City I. Samuel Christdoss and Rotary Assistant Governor M. Muruganandam took part.

Timely help

According to S. Mahendran, secretary of the society, the RO plant was a felt need to prevent the 52 hostel inmates from consuming contaminated water.
