benefits to the retired

transport corporation


Secretary of the association, K. Rajaram in a release said that a meeting held recently here has resolved to request the Government to start

disbursing the provident fund dues as it was stopped only recently.

The meeting also requested for settlement of gratuity, consolidation wage arrears, leave surrender dues, dearness allowance arrears and pointed out that the same had been stopped for the last two-years citing the financial constraints.

The meeting also urged the Government to take up the burden of disbursement of these dues to the retired employees. The meeting also appealed to the Government to take up the responsibility of settling all terminal benefits on the day of retirement as it was being done in the case of Government employees.
