TIRUNELVELI: The Divisional Railway Manager, Madurai, Hemant Kumar, has assured that the multi-purpose service centre on the premises of Palayamkottai zone office of Tirunelveli Corporation would soon house a computerised train ticket reservation counter.

The Palayamkottai zone chairman, Suba. Seetharaman, submitted a memorandum recently to the Union Railway Minister, Lalu Prasad, and the Minister of State for Railways, R. Velu, seeking the setting-up of this facility at the multi-purpose service centre, which is housing computerised counters to collect electricity and telephone bills and Corporation taxes. Mr. Seetharaman had also discussed the matter with Mr. Hemant Kumar, who gave the assurance.
